Card Scanner

Scan a binder into a collection or local trade list

What it does

It locks the exact printing, the language on the card, and the foil finish while you flip. Sleeves stay on. TCGPlayer USD or Cardmarket EUR prices come with the hit, then the card goes into a collection or local trade list.

Each hit can lock

  • The exact printing
  • The language on the card
  • The foil finish
  • TCGPlayer prices in US dollars or Cardmarket prices in euros
  • A destination: your collection or a trade list

Sleeves stay on

You do not need to unsleeve a stack or stage a perfect shot. Keep flipping, then review the batch and correct a printing, language, finish, or condition without restarting.

How to scan

Scanning happens in the Lootstack mobile app. The website Scanner page is the product page and waitlist — it does not open a camera in the browser. Collection on the web has Add Card and Import from File; it does not have a Scan button.

On your phone

  1. 1Open the Lootstack app and point the camera at a card
  2. 2Wait for it to lock printing, language, and foil
  3. 3Review the batch and tap anything that needs a correction
  4. 4Send keepers to your collection and extras to a Haves list

After you scan

This is not a scan-to-sell marketplace. Put the cards on a have list, match nearby players at shared stores, and build a trade proposal with cards, optional cash, and a meetup.

Typical path

  1. 1Scan a binder or box on your phone
  2. 2Review the batch and fix anything that needs a tap
  3. 3Send extras to a Haves list, keepers to your collection
  4. 4Match traders at your stores or across your city
  5. 5Propose the swap in Inbox and meet at game night

Availability

Which games can be scanned is the live list on the Scanner page, not a hardcoded three-game snapshot. Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh are not product scan games.

The improved scanner is not on the App Store yet. iOS is first; the download link appears when that listing ships.
